1Jersey City man charged with felony murder in deadly stabbing near Maxwell Street
Jersey City, NJ – A 61-year-old man has been charged with felony murder and robbery following the fatal stabbing of a 26-year-old man in Jersey City last Friday afternoon, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
Roberto Camacho, of Jersey City, was charged on Tuesday with Murder, Felony Murder during the commission of a robbery, and Robbery. Prosecutors say Camacho has been held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility since the day of the incident.
The deadly stabbing occurred just after 12:20 p.m. on October 24 near the intersection of Jersey Avenue, 1st Street, and Maxwell Street. Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a stabbing and found Joan Segovia, 26, suffering
