Patna, Oct 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a massive rally in Muzaffarpur on Thursday, launched a fierce political offensive against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD’s Tejashwi Yadav. He accused them of misleading voters with “false promises” while reaffirming that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government’s foremost priority remains the rapid development of Bihar.

PM Modi also revealed that the Centre is actively working to include Chhath Mahaparv—the festival deeply rooted in Bihar’s culture—on UNESCO’s World Heritage list, calling it “a celebration of humanity and harmony.”

“When India was at its zenith in knowledge and science, Bihar stood at its heart,” Modi said. “A developed India is impossible without a developed Bihar.
