New Delhi, Oct 30 (UNI) Major General Vetsop Namgyel, Ambassador of Bhutan to India, called on Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi today. The meeting took place just before Minister Sitharaman’s official visit to Bhutan scheduled from October 30 to November 2.

The visit underscores the growing economic and financial cooperation between India and Bhutan, two close neighbours sharing a long-standing partnership. Discussions during the visit are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and development collaboration, further consolidating the strong ties between the two countries.
