With heavy hearts and deep aloha, we announce the passing of our beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Darryl Kaina Carvalho, who left this world on Oct. 12, 2025, in the beauty and serenity of Kapa‘a Kaua‘i, he was 65 years old. Kaina worked as a Customer Service Associate at the UPS Store Lïhu‘e, Kukui Grove.

Born on July 31, 1960, Kaina lived a life filled with music, laughter, and love. His voice was a gift — one that could quiet a room, lift spirits, and bring people together. Whether he was singing under the stars, at family gatherings, or simply for the joy of it, Kaina shared his mana through song, touching the hearts of many.
