The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the cancellation of several long-distance and inter-state trains operating through Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal between November 11 and November 23.

The cancellations are being implemented to facilitate yard remodelling work at Shalimar railway station under the Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway.

According to the official notification, trains connecting Shalimar with Visakhapatnam, Puri, Chennai, Secunderabad, Nagercoil, Vasco-da-Gama, and other major destinations will remain cancelled on specific dates during this period.

The temporary suspension is aimed at enabling infrastructure upgradation and smoother train operations at the Shalimar terminal.
