(CNN) – Dictionary.com has announced its word of the year: 67 , pronounced as six-seven.

It’s a slang phrase that’s widely used by the Gen Alpha age group.

Six-seven has ties to rapper Skrilla’s song “Doot Doot.”

Some say the term means “so-so” or “maybe this, maybe that,” according to the digital dictionary.
