WATERTOWN — The Watertown Board of Education has announced the appointment of Ms. Lisa M. Fekete as the district’s next Superintendent of Schools, effective October 23, 2025. The Board voted unanimously to approve her appointment at a special meeting held on October 23, 2025.

Ms. Fekete brings more than 31 years of educational experience to the role of superintendent, including over 11 years of service in Watertown, a community where she has proudly lived, worked, and raised her children. Her experience in multiple roles in the district, including this year as acting superintendent, as she said, “has deepened my appreciation or the power of public education to transform lives and reinforced my commitment to help Watertown achieve its highest aspirations.” Through her leadership, Ms. Feket
