3Latrobe man charged after handgun found in carry-on at Pittsburgh International Airport checkpoint
Pittsburgh, PA – A 51-year-old Latrobe man is facing a criminal charge after Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers discovered a firearm in his carry-on bag at the main security checkpoint at Pittsburgh International Airport late Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:44 a.m. on October 29 when TSA officers spotted the weapon during routine screening and alerted the Allegheny County Police Department. Officers responded to the checkpoint and identified the passenger as John Frye.
