Luna and Plusza, a lion duo rescued from war zone in Ukraine, got into the Halloween spirit at Five Sisters Zoo — joined by the zoo’s ever-curious meerkats and newest residents, white-belted ruffed lemurs Tani and Azizi. ‌

The animals explored spooky seasonal enrichment, including pumpkins filled with tasty treats, as part of the zoo’s annual “Boo at the Zoo” celebrations. ‌

The festivities come as the zoo looks ahead to next month’s special milestone — one year since Luna and Plusza’s arrival in West Calder. ‌
