A few isolated pockets of rain are still present in the Tennessee Valley but those are drying out quickly and will likely be completely out of our system shortly after sunrise. This morning is yet another gloomy and dreary one with overcast skies still present. Out-the-door temperatures are sitting in the mid and upper 40s.
We'll start to hear some pockets of cloud clearing through the day but, certainly not at an accelerated place, we won't notice fully clear skies until after dinner tonight. That overnight cloud clearly really impacts our Friday morning temperatures. we'll be waking up in the mid and upper 30s with many of us experiencing the first frost of the season.
