New Delhi: On the quiet banks of the Narayani River in Kushinagar, rockets roared and satellites hummed as students from across India turned their classroom theories into real launches. The IN-SPACe Model Rocketry and CANSAT India Student Competition 2024–25 wrapped up this week after four days of thrilling experiments, teamwork, and a lot of scientific grit.
Jointly organised by IN-SPACe, ISRO, and the Astronautical Society of India (ASI), the national-level event brought together 67 teams representing universities from across India. From Bengaluru to Ahmedabad, students showcased their models, launched rockets, and tested miniature satellites (CANSATs) before an expert jury of ISRO and IN-SPACe scientists.
