IOWA CITY — The positive vibes are undeniably flowing with the Iowa football program during its final bye week of the 2025 season.
With a 6-2 record and best Big Ten Conference start (at 4-1) since 2015, the Hawkeyes are knocking on the door of national relevance again. Over the last month-plus, they’ve given the No. 2 team in the country (Indiana) all it could handle; they’ve destroyed two trophy-game rivals (Wisconsin, Minnesota) by a 78-3 margin; and they’ve shown resiliency against a blueblood program with more talent (Penn State) to win in comeback fashion.
But if the Hawkeyes want to turn that October momentum into November euphoria, it’s going to take additional improvement.
