AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - An Akron man who intentionally ran over a victim he had just assaulted, will be sentenced in Summit County Court of Common Pleas Thursday.

On Aug. 7, Thomas Felber pleaded guilty to two counts of felonious assault.

According to Akron police, officers were called to the Circle K in the 400 bock of West Market St. just before 4 p.m. on May 25.

Felber assaulted a man, entered his vehicle, ran over the victim, and then dragged him through the parking lot, before fleeing the scene said police.

“The video circulating on social media is disturbing and painful to watch,” said Lieutenant Michael Murphy, with APD in a prior statement. “I want the community to know that we find this disturbing as well and we share their concern.”
