Devotees of period dramas are set for a real treat, as every episode of a "lavish" series can now be streamed without charge.
ITVX hosts the programme, which unfolds in 1920s Manchester and chronicles the experiences of both guests and employees at a grand hotel.
The platform hints that the characters "are caught up in murder, mystery, money and illicit affairs".
As the series begins—which ran for two seasons—it's New Year's Eve in 1919, and the sumptuous reopening of the Grand Hotel quickly takes a dark turn for its proprietor, John Bannerman (portrayed by Michael Siberry).
The programme, which first broadcast in 1997, was crafted by Doctor Who star Russell T Davies, reports the Express . View 3 Images
