In April 2025, Lucy Guo, co-founder of Scale AI, overtook global pop icon Taylor Swift to become the world’s youngest self-made woman billionaire at age 30. Guo, who joined the ranks of billionaire college dropouts like Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates, went against her family to build her empire of over 1.4 billion dollars.

Speaking at Forbes, Guo shared her secret to her thriving career and key advice she would give to young professionals . “Karma is a real thing, and it comes back at you. And, when you are successful, you should reinvest in the ecosystem,” she said at the Forbes 2025 Under 30 Summit in Columbus, Ohio.
