Nobody wants to keep 800 Grant St. as an office building.
The six-story, 44,000-square-foot concrete building sold for $2.4 million on Monday, according to public records, to an entity managed by Sam Leger.
Leger, who is CEO of Denver brokerage Unique Properties and commercial builder 303 Construction and Development Services, paid $54 per square foot for the 1970s building. The property also includes a three-story parking garage.
Leger, who did not respond to a request for comment, financed the deal with a $1.7 million loan from Missouri-based Central Trust Bank.
A proposal submitted to Denver last month suggests that Leger is planning to convert the existing building into 50 apartments. The documents, drawn up by local shop Neo Studio Architecture, don’t directly name the developer b
