If you’re off to a Halloween party or event, remember to plan ahead.
Before drinking, choose a designated driver or schedule a rideshare or taxi service. If you’re at a bar, ask your bartender to call one for you.
Bottom line: Don’t drink and drive.
If you’re hosting a Halloween party, the fire department suggests you prepare to call taxis or rideshares for your guests or provide sleeping accommodations to guests who have too much of the witch’s brew.
If you’re sober, you can drive guests home yourself.
Another tip is to collect car keys from guests who are drinking.
