The Tigard Tigers (1-7) play host to the Tualatin Timberwolves (5-3) in a Week 9 Oregon high school football Thursday night showdown.
Coach Todd Crist’s Tigers are 0-4 in the Three Rivers League and have lost their past five games entering this rivalry matchup. Tigard’s lone victory this season was a big one — 59-6 over Roosevelt on Sept. 19.
The Timberwolves, coached by Dom Ferraro, started the season with four consecutive nonleague wins but are 1-3 in the rugged Three Rivers League. They are coming off a 52-28 loss to reigning 6A state champion West Linn.
