When Jordan Keltner first speaks to soon-to-be fiance Megan Walerius in the Love Is Blind Season 9 opener, he wastes no time introducing himself as a single dad (after a bit of banter about what car she drives, of course).

“That’s my number one priority,” he says of parenting his 5-year-old son, Luca. We learn that Luca has the same form of diabetes as Megan’s late father, which Megan takes as a sign that Jordan is the one for her.
