Harry Kane scored twice as Bayern Munich recorded the greatest-ever start to a season in Europe's top five leagues with a 4-1 win over Cologne.

The England captain helped inspire Vincent Kompany 's men to a 14th straight victory of the campaign in the German Cup on Wednesday.

Bayern have won every game the club have played in the cup, alongside the Bundesliga and Champions League so far in 2025-26.

Their latest win over Cologne surpassed AC Milan 's historic mark of 13 victories at the start of the 1992-93 campaign.

During Bayern's record-breaking run, Kane has scored two hat-tricks and six braces, only failing to score in two of the club's 14 matches.

Just as impressively, the Bavarians achieved the feat despite falling behind in a game for the first time since July.
