Rabbi Stuart Weinblatt, founding chair of the Zionist Rabbinic Coalition, has worked with Jewish communities of all sizes across the country. During a recent visit to Cleveland, he said it was especially meaningful to be here because of the region’s “long and rich history” of supporting Israel.

“The Cleveland Jewish community has always been one of the crown jewels of the American Jewish communities in terms of its support for Israel, both financially, emotionally and through participation in national leadership positions,” Weinblatt told the Cleveland Jewish News.

During his two-day visit on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17, he also visited the Maltz Museum in Beachwood, where he was “very impressed with the presentation,” he said.
