The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) is issuing a heartfelt plea to the public to support them in their annual raffle after it struggles to meet the halfway mark of their fundraising target. The ‘Take Flight Raffle’ launched earlier this year to raise vital funds for the air ambulance charity, which relies on public donations to survive.
Every £1 ticket bought will support GNAAS’ mission to keep families and communities together by providing life-saving care across the North. Unfortunately this year’s raffle has failed to reach the same level of success as previous years and has currently raised around £45,000 against a target of £100,000.
In response to the drop in ticket sales, the charity is reminding the public to not take their service for granted and consider buying raffle
