In the spring of 2027, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says a bridge in Strasburg Twp., Lancaster County, will be replaced.
People who want to comment on the proposed project online , however, have only until Nov. 24 of this year to do so.
The project entails a culvert replacement on May Post Office Road (Route 2015) that crosses over a tributary to Little Beaver Creek.
“The existing structure was built in 1976 and consists of three corrugated metal pipes. The overall structure length is approximately 19 feet,” PennDOT said in a news release.
The existing structure will be replaced with a buried precast concrete box culvert with precast end sections. The project also includes relocating utilities, reconstructing the pavement and minor roadway adjustments.
