The popular Center City Jazztober event in Amarillo enjoyed by many jazz patrons and concert lovers ended its season Tuesday night, Oct. 28 with several doggone good events.
The famous 27-foot Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, which was a big attention-getter parked outside of the Historic Bivins Home on Polk, along with a Doggie Dress Up, made the event a howling success. A cold front didn’t even put a damper on the enthusiastic bundled-up crowd.
Many people brought their own blankets and wieners, dogs dressed up in costume, for the Doggie Dress Up contest which started at 5 p.m., while Ruth Ellen Lynch & Jazz Plus played their special brand of jazz.
