After returning from a week-long road trip, the Cru hosted the Brooks Bandits on Friday, Oct. 24, suffering a crushing 8-0 shutout loss. Brooks quickly took control, leading 3-0 by the end of the first period. The rout continued in the second and third eventually leading to the final 8-0 score. This defeat marked the Crusaders’ fifth consecutive loss and their first shutout at home since Nov. 20, 2022. Article content Article content
However, the team showed resilience on Saturday, Oct. 25 against the Vernon Vipers, securing a much needed 3-2 victory. Forward Rockston Ror-Chow opened the scoring for the Crusaders with his first career BCHL goal.
