The Sherwood Park Crusaders faced a challenging weekend home stand, splitting their two games against strong BCHL opponents.
After returning from a week-long road trip, the Cru hosted the Brooks Bandits on Friday, Oct. 24, suffering a crushing 8-0 shutout loss. Brooks quickly took control, leading 3-0 by the end of the first period. The rout continued in the second and third eventually leading to the final 8-0 score. This defeat marked the Crusaders’ fifth consecutive loss and their first shutout at home since Nov. 20, 2022.
