Hearts face Dundee on Saturday in the William Hill Premiership (15.00) and Derek McInnes, the club’s head coach, said that the point earned at St Mirren in midweek will be “decent” if the Jambos can take three points from the Tayside team.
McInnes told Hearts TV after the Paisley games: “There are a lot of disappointed boys in the dressing room but, over the course of the season, a draw here (in Paisley) is not the worst result. It is a difficult place to come. All in all there were lots of positives to take.”
Looking back at the game which ended in a 2-2 draw, the ex-Aberdeen and Kilmarnock boss said: “Scrappy at times, end-to-end at times and we carried a good threat. Obviously, we are disappointed with the first goal we lose, the first goal is so important, particularly away from home
