It’s Week 9 and the New Orleans Saints (1-7) find themselves on the road to face the Los Angeles Rams (5-2) at SoFi Stadium on Sunday.
It all started for these two teams back on September 17, 1967, which saw the Rams defeat the Saints 27-13 in Tulane Stadium.
Sunday will be the 80th time that these two franchises have faced one another, which includes 2 post season matchups (2000 and 2019) and as we all know, these two have a very notorious playoff history.
The 2000 NFC Wild Card Playoff game against the Rams became known as the “Hakim dropped the ball” game which led to a Saints 31-28 win, the franchise’s first playoff victory and of course, the now infamous 2019 NFCCG game which saw Rams CB Nickell Robey-Coleman commit a crystal-clear act of pass interference against Saints WR Tommy L
