The Department for Transport is poised to introduce new legislation within the next two years aimed at addressing the issue of drivers being 'dazzled' by LED headlights.

This move was discussed during a Westminster Hall debate at the Houses of Parliament this week - following growing calls for new regulations after data showed four out of five drivers (82%) are concerned about being dazzled by vehicle headlights as the nights draw in earlier, according to a recent RAC survey.

During the debate, Liberal Democrat Richard Foord stated: "As the clocks go back and evenings grow darker, drivers in Devon are finding that dazzling headlights are no longer just a nuisance, but a real danger on our roads.
