KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Dr. Tamar Shirinian has filed a lawsuit against the University of Tennessee, saying her potential firing has violated her First Amendment rights. Shirinian came under fire after she made a social media post about conservative commentator Charlie Kirk in the aftermath of his shooting death in September.
