New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that India has emerged as a symbol of peace, stability, and inclusive growth at a time when the world faces rising geopolitical tensions, trade disruptions, and shifting supply chains. Speaking at the Global Maritime CEO Forum in New Delhi, he said India’s maritime strength and expanding partnerships have made the country a reliable and stabilising force in global trade.

“When global seas are rough, the world looks for a steady lighthouse. India can become that steady lighthouse,” the Prime Minister said, emphasising that the nation’s maritime sector is ad
