CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) - Excited for Halloween? According to a recent ranking, West Virginians have the most Halloween spirit in the country.

A recent ranking by Attraction Tickets analyzed Google Trends data to assign each state a Halloween spirit score, and West Virginia came out on top with an extra spooky score of 666 out of 1,000.

According to the ranking, West Virginia scored the highest in almost all of the categories used for the study, leading the country in Google searches for Halloween decor and costume ideas.
