Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell has received criticism for allowing quarterback Carson Wentz to take numerous unnecessary hits as Wentz played with a left shoulder injury during the club's 37-10 defeat at the Los Angeles Chargers back on Oct. 23.
Wentz will soon undergo season-ending surgery to repair the issue, but doesn't blame O'Connell for his current condition.

"This isn't my first rodeo," Wentz said while speaking with reporters on Wednesday, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN. "I'm not an idiot. I know what I was signing up for going out there. Nobody was forcing me, pressuring me, any of those things."
