A heartbroken mom is searching for answers after doctors dismissed her baby's diagnosis 12 hours before she passed away.
Elleigh Beck (@elleighhasababy) shared footage of her daughter on TikTok strapped in her car seat looking pink, blotchy and visibly uncomfortable.
Penelope Claire—“Nellie” as her family called her—was just three days old when she died.
Elleigh and her partner Ryan from Valparaiso, Indiana, have spent the past two years trying to understand how doctors could have missed what, in hindsight, seems so painfully obvious.
From the moment Nellie was born, something about her color didn’t seem right. “She appeared a bit dusky or 'off,' and it immediately concerned us,” Elleigh told Newsweek .
She and Ryan both noticed it and brought it up repeatedly in the hospital .
