Spacetech startup Skyroot Aerospace is gearing up to launch its maiden full-scale commercial satellite mission in January 2026.
Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace aims to launch a rocket every three months next year, followed by one every month from 2027 onwards, according to media reports.
CEO Pawan Chandana believes the first launch itself would give a fair estimate of the operating revenue and expects each launch to generate roughly $5 million.
“Making a single rocket takes about eight to nine months, and costs us $2-3 million. As we build scale, this cost and time will both reduce. Our revenue expectation per launch is about double that of the cost of making a rocket," Chandana told Mint .
