CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Pageland Police officer was arrested on a domestic violence charge on Wednesday. According to the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested Brandon Dixon after responding to a call in reference to a domestic dispute.
Pageland PD Chief Dean Short said Dixon has been relieved of his duties. “When I became aware of Mr. Dixon’s conduct, it resulted in the termination of employment,” Short said. “Officers are held to a higher standard as part of their duty to protect and serve. That’s why they are held accountable when they fall short.” Dixon was booked into the Chesterfield County Detention Center on Wednesday.
He graduated from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in March 2024.
