Hollywood is mourning the loss of a ‘90s star.

Floyd Roger Myers Jr. , a former child actor who appeared on Fresh Prince of Bel Air, died on Oct. 22, his mother Renee Trice confirmed to TMZ . He was 42.

Myers died after suffering a heart attack in his Maryland home, Trice told the outlet, adding she had last spoken to her son hours before his passing. She also shared that he experienced three heart attacks in the last three years.

During his acting career, Myers played the young version of Will Smith in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air ’s third season in 1992. Later that year, he portrayed a young Marlon Jackson in ABC’s mini-series The Jacksons: An American Dream , which also starred Angela Bassett , Jason Weaver and Billy Dee Williams .
