SRINAGAR : The Jammu Kashmir Government has said a total of 170 vacancies have been referred to the Jammu Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) for recruitment under the Combined Civil Services for 2024 and 2025, with just 68 seats falling under the open merit category. According to official data tabled in response to a question by MLA Dr Bharat Bhushan, 90 vacancies were referred to the PSC for the 2024 examination and another 80 for 2025. Of these, 36 open merit seats were announced for 2024 and 32 for 2025, spread across the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS), Jammu Kashmir Accounts Service, and Jammu and Kashmir Police Service.
