WASHINGTON — Three strikes, you're out! The Washington Nationals have fired long-time General Manager Mike Rizzo and Manager Dave Martinez.
The announcement was made on Sunday, just hours after a 3-game sweep by the Boston Red Sox. The Nats are currently 37-53 for the season and last in the division.
In a statement released by Nats owner Mark Lerner, he says the team needs a fresh approach.
