Zohran Mamdani is maintaining a strong lead over Andrew Cuomo in the New York City mayoral race, according to two new polls.
The survey results, released by Marist University and Emerson College on Thursday, show Mamdani holding a double-digit advantage, signaling momentum for the Democratic nominee ahead of Election Day.
The Marist poll shows Mamdani with 48% support among likely city voters — including those who are undecided but leaning towards a candidate. Cuomo, who is running on the independent Fight and Deliver Party line, received 32%, while Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa received 16%. Three percent of voters are undecided.
According to Marist, 1,134 adults participated in the survey, which was conducted between Oct. 24 and Oct. 28.
