NEW ALEXANDRIA, Pa. —

Pennsylvania State Police say they are now investigating the death of a man found on state game lands as a homicide.

Pittsburgh's Action News 4 reporter Ed DiOrio spoke with Trooper Steve Limani who said Robert Friend's death is being viewed as a homicide and as police seek help from the public. Advertisement

Friend was found dead early Saturday on state game lands near Mannitto Golf Club. It is believed he died between Friday and early Saturday morning.

“I’m not giving you a ton of information — that’s because we don’t have a ton of information right now,” Limani said during a presser earlier this week. “We’re basically starting from scratch. This is a who-dun-it from the jump. This is the test of all tests for an investigator.”
