After a cool and breezy Halloween with scattered showers, we dry out as we go into the weekend. The first day of November brings an overcast afternoon throughout the region.
While it will be a cloudy day, the winds stay light and temperatures remain cool over the region in the 40s.
Heading into Sunday, a few showers are possible in the western Dakotas and Minnesota. These will be light though, and wind down quickly into the afternoon. We also start to see some sunshine return especially out in the central and western Dakotas. This will help warm us up with more temperatures getting back into the 50s.
The wind also picks up for Sunday. By the afternoon a strong west breeze will move into the Dakotas and eventually Minnesota.
