The University of Wisconsin-Madison and TitletownTech in Ashwaubenon will be some of the first to use an advanced artificial intelligence platform that can massively accelerate the pace of scientific research and discovery, Microsoft announced Oct. 30.

The renowned research university and Green Bay-based venture capital firm's collaboration is one of two partnerships that will use Microsoft's Discovery platform , an advanced agentic AI unveiled in May. The other is a collaboration between Princeton University and the New Jersey Artificial Intelligence Hub .

The Wisconsin-based partners said the collaboration has the potential to transform scientific research and development going forward and further position Wisconsin as a center of innovation.
