LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bernheim Forest and Arboretum is celebrating the fall season with its annual Colorfest this Saturday and Sunday.

The annual event coincides with the arrival of peak fall colors in the forest.

Families can check out arts and crafts vendors, corn pits, hands on nature activities and live music, according to the website .

Colorfest has been happening for more than 20 years, and staff say it has become a beloved seasonal tradition.

"Coming out is a great time to just take a deep breath, put everything else behind you and have a great time with your family," Lynette Cox, the director of marketing and communications at Bernheim, said.

Colorfest is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you can buy tickets in advance or at the gate.
