The Sherwood Park U16 Rams saw their season come to a close on Saturday, Oct. 25 as they lost 12-10 to the top-ranked Spruce Grove Cougars in the first round of the Capital District Minor Football Association’s 12-side Tier 1 Morgan Division. Article content Article content

“We saw four full quarters of football from the team,” said U16 Rams head coach Bill Nyszczuk. “ That was one of the things that we strived to do. Sometimes the team looks really good in some quarters and may lapse in judgment, penalties, and bad plays in others, but Saturday was four good quarters of football. The team played very well together in all three aspects of the game: special teams, offense and defense.”
