Nope, that's not a Halloween decoration. That really is a monkey swinging from the rafters.

Halloween decorations are getting pretty realistic, but the monkey swinging through the rafters at a Spirit Halloween in Texas was all too real.

On Monday, Oct. 27, a pet monkey and its owner were in a Spirit Halloween store in Plano, Texas, when it got spooked by an animatronic, a store employee told local news outlet NBC 5 DFW . The monkey took off from the owner.

Video shows the monkey swinging through the rafters while wearing a diaper, according to Storyful. The monkey was also seen climbing a pole and atop the store's displays as people tried to coax it back to its owner.

Police were also called to the scene, according to NBC 5 DFW.
