Emmerdale's Ross Barton star received love from co-stars and viewers as he shared a soap milestone.

Actor Michael Parr arrived back in the Dales in October last year after a six year hiatus. He was first seen in an unlicensed boxing match with Billy Fletcher.

Ross Barton's reappearance seemed set to rekindle old tensions and create new rivalries, particularly with Billy. Ross originally left Emmerdale for a fresh start with Rebecca White to embark on a new life in Liverpool.

Prior to his exit, Ross was the victim of an acid attack orchestrated by Debbie Dingle who initially intended to target Joe Tate - who also returned at the end of last year.
