On Thursday, the Charlotte Hornets (2-2) host the Orlando Magic (1-4) at the Spectrum Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Hornets are coming off a 144-117 loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday to conclude a three-game road trip. The group allowed its opponent to shoot 54.2% from the field while committing 18 turnovers, which led to 26 points for the Heat.
LaMelo Ball produced 20 points, nine assists and eight rebounds, while Kon Knueppel scored 19 points and Collin Sexton added 18 points. Knueppel has knocked down 16 3-pointers this season, the most by any player through the first four games of a career in history.
The Magic sustained a 135-116 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, their fourth straight defeat after winning their opener. The group trailed by one point at halftime and was outscored 70-52 after allowing the Pistons to shoot 56.8% from the field over the last two quarters.
Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists, Franz Wagner scored 22 points and seven rebounds and Tristan da Silva added 15 points. They have now given up at least 130 points twice to an opponent after allowing no such games last season.
The Magic and Hornets are meeting for the first of four matchups this season. Orlando swept the series last year and has won nine out of the previous 10 contests overall.
