The internal rift within the Tripura BJP due to differences of opinion related to organisational affairs has been quelled for now following a crucial closed-door meeting chaired by BJP’s North East Coordinator and Member of Parliament, Dr. Sambit Patra and the party’s state in-charge Dr Rajdeep Roy.
The internal divisions in the party, which were allegedly caused by the delay in restructuring its state unit, were addressed by Patra during multiple meetings with cabinet ministers, legislators and party leaders that culminated yesterday.
