Keller City Council unanimously approved the rehabilitation and resurfacing of eight streets at a regular council meeting Oct. 21.

The road renovations are part of a collaboration with staff from Tarrant County in the Pavement Maintenance Program and is a temporary addition to other collaborations with the county, according to city documents .

Precinct 3 of Tarrant County will provide the labor and equipment for the roadwork, and the city of Keller will cover the costs. The roadwork is estimated to cost about $1.29 million and will be paid through the Street System Capital Improvements Project Fund with funding from the city’s general fund, according to city documents.
